Nightlife, bars and discos
The nightlife scene in Casa is comparatively quiet,
and hard to find for the visitor. Catering mostly to the
young and trend local set you may not find the most
active nightclubs at street level or busy before
midnight so they are easy to miss.
Traditionally nightlife in Casa meant drinking tea in
the evening, and perhaps a belly dance to strains of
African music. But today raves, turntables and
rappers are just as commonly found.
La Bodega, 127 rue Allal ben Abdellah - Spanish
themed and with a wide range of alcoholic beverages part
till the morning here.
G Sound - Near the Aïn Diab beach front this
comfortable den has resident DJs who virtually spin the
latest in electronica from African and Europe.
Popular with the wealthy locals as well as expatriates
in the know.
Le Village - Also near the beach at 11 Blvd de
la Corniche this discothèque is gay friendly, playing
half techno house and half local Moroccan pop music.
Close to the beach, and across the road from other sea
clubs, there is plenty to see here for a tourist as well
as locals and expatriates. .
"Ricks American Cafe"
Not the one in the film of course, but simulating it!
