Beachs

Within the city itself there is a wonderful sand beach frequented by locals called Ain Diab, many facilities are here.  All in total there are five beaches within the city area, all easily accessible by public transport.  From south to north they are:

Plage Madame Choual and Plage Lalla Meryem - - Rarely used except by locals.

An Diab - Along this beach you will find most of the beach facilities, from local cafes to international fast food such as KFC. From Caf Nzaha to the Blue Marlin, and don't forget the surf clubs!  A the right hand, northern, end of the beach itself there is a rocky outcrop on which there are many shops, restaurants and several beach clubs offering pools and services for those wanting to have a beach resort experience, in the city and without staying over. The kon-tiki, Club des Clubs, Miami Beach, Topicana club, Tahiti and Paradise club are the main ones. There are even two actual hotels here being Hotel Riad Essalam, Karam Hotel and Hotel Beau Rivage.

During the winter off season people do not bath at the beach, but there are still plenty of local families going for a picnic or to take a donkey ride on the beach.

Plage de Ain Sebaa - The northern end of Ain Diab is actually Ain Sebaa, and here you will find additional facilities and restaurants

Plage de petite Zenata

Not that small, this beach is about 500m long and with locals. Check out the pottery and  you will find other semi-industrial buildings inland, including metal works and construction company suppliers.  But the beach itself is peaceful and quiet sands.
